WebP in every browser

WebP is now the default image format on many websites, which is why saved pictures often end up as .webp files that older apps, print shops or upload forms refuse. Converting them to PNG takes a few seconds and loses no quality, because PNG is lossless.
Going the other way, converting PNG and JPG to WebP is one of the easiest ways to speed up a website or online store. Google's own measurements found WebP files 25–34% smaller than comparable JPEGs, and lossless WebP is also smaller than PNG.

Which is better: PNG, JPG or WebP?
PNG is lossless and supports transparency, which suits graphics, screenshots and cut-outs. JPEG is compact for photos that don't need transparency. WebP does both jobs and is usually smaller than either at similar quality.
Can I convert several images at once?

Can I convert to GIF, TIFF or AVIF?
